What is 8 feet tall, has orange eyes, a black tongue and a poisonous wart on the end of its nose? Why, the Gruffalo, of course! What’s a Gruffalo? Why, don’t you know? Tall Stories returns to Anchorage with The Gruffalo, a big scary monster of a show. Join Mouse on an adventurous journey through the deep, dark forest in this magical, musical adaptation of the Blue Peter award-winning picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.
Along the way, ravenous predators accost the little rodent. Mouse invents an imaginary friend – a huge, monstrous beast called the Gruffalo. And each time the foe is scared off, until… a creature that looks horribly like its own invention suddenly confronts the mouse. Find out what happens to Mouse in this irresistibly charming, witty and fun-filled musical guaranteed to delight audience members of all ages.
