Create awareness of community with AJT as we work with local charities to shine a light on Anchorage's growing problem of youth homelessness and create possible solutions. If a powerful imagination can make you the richest of people, then Danny is king of his world - or at least, king of the basement!! Danny is an extraordinary, creative and imaginative 10-year-old boy who just happens to be poor, but don't let that fool you. His transient lifestyle has helped him develop a highly portable and admirable skill, the ability to make friends fast. Danny, King of the Basement is not just another play with a message that will move adults to tears and give youth a deeper understanding of the world they live in, it is also a marvelous combination of intelligence, good-will and humor against all odds.
